The S stands for Standard, and just means it was measured at standard temperature and pressure.

Thanks for the reply.
Just a clarification on your reply. Is there any standard temperature and pressure is always used to measure in Sm3/hr? Or is it up to the user to decide the standard pressure and temperature. |

The standard temperature and pressure is a specific defined temperature and pressure. Though it differs from industry to industry. For example, the oil industry may use a different standard temperature than the propane industry.
As far as I know, the standard pressure is always 1 atmosphere. There may be some industries that use a different standard pressure, I just do not know of them. |
