I tried that formula in the program QBasic and it didn't work.
How would you do this? This is a question that might help some users. I couldn't find anything so far in my search..... Please help!  Supermeow

John's answer is correct. The short version of the formula is:
Horsepower = Torque * RPM / 5252.113 where Torque is in FtLb and RPM is in revolutions per minute. The formula should work just fine in QBasic.

Measure the torque and rpm at the prop shaft and use the formula above.
