Question CUP to PSI

Is there a formula for converting CUP (copper units of pressure) to PSI?
CUP is/was used in firearms cartridge (bullet) pressure statistics by the SAMMI.

It looks like the correlation between these ways of measuring pressure can vary quite a bit.
