Quote:
Volume of pipe is (pi/4)*d*d*L = 0.785*1.667*1.667*20 = 43.63 ft³ There are 27 ft³/yd³, so 1.62 yd³ |

Hello,
I am wondering if you can help me with how many gallons of water would be in 600ft of 6" pipe. I know the formula for the volume of a cylinder is 3.14 x r squared x the height. But I'm not sure what to do because of the inches and feet. Thanks |

600 ft x 12 in/ft = 7200 in, then 3.14*(3 in)²*7200 in * 1gallon/231 in³ = 881.3 gallons |
