Default convert water flow meter reading to air flow

I have a variable area flow meter (thats the flow tube type with a ball inside) which is calibrated with water. How would I convert the flow rate reading for air?

I don't know what type you have, but both the density and viscosity of the fluid will affect the force balance which operation is based on. Air and water differ so much in those parameters that I am not sure how it will work.

This page offers some discussion:
