3 cm is pretty thin. Not sure that will be satisfactory even for light duty.

Asphalt is around 2.4 t/m³ so 1 t is 0.42 m³
0.417 m³/0.03 m = 13.9 m²

Depends on the substance and its density. Also something appears wrong with 2nd number. Is it 220,800 tonnes or 2,208,000 tones.

If it is a liquid or solid, 300 million m³ is larger, for some gases, you need the density.

It depends on temperature and details of salinity, but fresh water is about 1 t/m³ and typical sea water, 1.025 t/m³.

It is freshwater. I don't know the temperature.

Based on your information, 1,020,882m³ = 1,020,882t = 1.02MT, correct?

But if it was saltwater, then 1,020,882m³ = 995,982t = 0.996MT?
