Default Conversion of Quote Rates from Square Meter Basis to Cubic Meter Basis

If for a contract work the initial quote is made on square meter basis and later if the quote is required to be changed to cubic meter basis, is there any method for the same. In other words if the Square Meter price offered for a work is 5 $ what should be the Cubic meter pricing? Is there any conversion factor?

You need to know thickness, of whatever it is the material is.

square meters * thickness in meters = cubic meters

$/square meter / thickness in meters = $/cubic meter

$/cubic meter * thickness in meters = $/square meter

Question Re: Conversion of Quote Rates from Square Meter Basis to Cubic Meter Basis

Usually square meter/square yard information on plans, which is what the quote would be based on, is given as "sqyds * 1in" or "sqmtr * 15cm" or some similar form, and is usually used for an overlay on a relatively uniform base. Using this information from the plans it is pretty easy to convert to cubics.
