My father works repairing cars and their shop recently ran into this situation when repairing a car.
The car was a non-USA made vehicle and the label on the A/C unit called out for cc's instead of the normal pounds as they usually see on the label? Is it possible to convert from pounds to cc's? Is this a pressure measurement? Please post any advise you may have for this situation. |

normally cc stand for cubic centimeter so a volume. Maybe you should put this quantity of freon in the A/C
1000 cubic centimeter (cc) = 0.264172052 gallon (US) 1000 cubic centimeter (cc) = 1 liter BUT..if normally you measure the pressure in the line with an indicator to obtain POUNDS of pressure (psi) you will have to find something else...their is no way to convert volume in cc to a pressure except if you know the temperature of the freon when it's compressed... |
