MHz to GHz - GHz to MHz

Would someone tell me how to covert MHz to GHz and GHz to MHz.

MHz --> GHz: Divide by 1000
GHz --> MHz: Multiply by 1000

So if im looking at a Quad core processor, and it says that it 1400 MHz base speed. That would only be 1.4 GHz total or 1.4 GHz per?

My procesir is working on turboboots 3.90GHz intel )

1000 mhz = 1 ghz. So you calculate how much it is.

i need to convert 1.86 ghz to mhz can some one help me give me the process .

Multiply by 1000 (move decimal three places right) 1860 MHz
