mcg is a common though incorrect symbol for the microgram, 1 millionth of a gram. mg is the symbol for milligram, 1 thousandth of a gram.

400 microgram = 0.4 milligram

I have a medication that came from two different pharmacies.
One says 50 MCG, the other says 0.05MG.
The tablets are different. Is it the same medication?

Yes, they are the same dosage. If they are different in color, it could be something as simple like, they are from different manufacturers. Only your pharmacist would know for sure.

One paking says 1000mcg the old one says 5mg I need to take 10mg one dosage it's the same medication? HELP??

1000 mcg (should be 1000 µg) is only 1 mg.

1.25 mg tab is ordered all you have is 625mcg how much should you give?

Since this looks like pharmacy school homework, you should read the text or use Google to understand the relationship between microgram and milligram. If it isn't readily understandable, this may be the wrong line of work.

The correct answer is two, but it is critical that you understand why, and be able to solve similar problems yourself.
