I have a parcel of ground that is 450 feet long and 250 feet deep, how do I convert to acres?...

Assuming it is a perfect rectangle

450 x 250 = 112,500 sq ft

112,500 / 43,560 (Acre) = 2.58 Acres

Lots with 4 or more sides can have multiple shapes depending on the corner angles. Without the corner angles (or the bearing angles of the 5 sides) there is no way to answer this question.

If there are no right angles then the easiest thing is to make 5 triangles, divide each into a right triangle, compute each right triangle (base x height = square feet) then add the 5 together. So you won't be confused, to get the area of a right triangle it is base x height / 2; however you are actually creating 2 identical triangles by making the right triangles because the b side (height) bisects the length of each of your 5 sides, so the sq ft of each of the 5 triangles is two times the sq ft of each right triangle.

The shape (and area) is not fixed by four sides alone. We need a diagonal, or the corner angles, or the bearing angles of the four sides.

East Side: 205.1 Feet
North Side: 190.4 Feet
West Side: 206.6 Feet
South Side: 67.4 Feet

What is the total area in feet and convert this to acres, please.........
