An area is the product of two dimensions (generally length and width). It can't be converted to a singular linear measure without consideration of the other dimension. How about 1.7895 ha? (hectare)

Spheres, pyramids, etc will be different, but lets talk rectangular solids with a length, width, and height (all in meters) Floor area = length x width (in square meters) Volume = length x width x height = floor area x height. But floor area isn't the only area, there is also a top or ceiling area, and also each of the four walls or sides have an area, two are length x height, and two are width x height. So to answer your question, if the 200 square meters has no height, it is zero cunic meters, if 1 m high, 200 m³, if 2 m high, 400 m³, etc. If you don't know the missing dimension, there is no meaningful answer. |
