Red face What is thicker 80 Gauge or 60 Gauge

this relates to plastic stretch wrap.

For most things measured in gauge, larger numbers mean thinner.

But for plastic film, 1 gauge = 0.01 mil, so larger numbers mean thicker.
80 gauge * 0.01 = 0.8 mil thick
60 gauge * 0.01 = 0.6 mil thick

As mentioned above, 80 gauge is 0.8 mil or 0.0008 in,
therefore 0.0203 mm or 20.3 m.

80 gauge is thicker and stronger relating to poly bags and films

.094 mm is 37 guage
