Depending on what information yu have got in terms of conversion tables the following will work :-
:-1 Ib f/ft2 = 47.8803 N/m2 :- 1 Ib f/ft = sq rt of 47.8803 N/m2 = 6.919 N/m :- 1 Ib f/ft = 6.919 N/m / 1000 = 0.006919 KN/m :- 3.5KN/m / 0.006919 KN/m = 505.8534 :- 3.5KN/m = 505.8534 Ibf/ft |

There is a difference between kN/m and kN-m, also between lbf/ft and lbf-ft.

3.5 kN/m is 2,581.4635 lbf./ft
