kilonewton is a unit of force, and PSI is a unit of pressure.

There is no direct conversion between them. You will need to provide more information as to exactly what you are trying to do, maybe I can help work it out.

Exclamation Re: 50 kN = psi ?

I have a tool that says it has 50KN. Is there any way of finding out much PSI that even comes close to? Just so I can tell what I'm working with.

One is force, the other pressure. They are not comparable. However, newtons can be converted to pounds force.
50 kN x 1lbf/4.44822 N = 11240 lbf.

if you are using a pressbrake or simular >>>

I have a similar problem. We want to use a hydraulic bolt tensioning machine but the units given on the drawing is in KN - the gauge is in Bar/Psi. How do I convert?

You would need to know the area of the piston on which the pressure acts

force = area * pressure
