Exclamation I want to know how to convert ug/l to mg/l

Selenium in particular 500.00 ug/l converts to ? mg/l . I need to know in order to identify potential environmental hazards, and I can't reach my engineer right now.

500 microgram/liter = 0.5 milligram/liter

For this conversion, the substance wont matter. All substances would have the same conversion factor.

You can find that on the density conversion page.

1 microgram/liter = 0.001 milligram/liter

Multiply by 1000, the ratio between the two metric prefixes.

1mg/l=1000ug/l
500ug/l(1mg/l/1000ug/l)=0.5mg/l
