    How do I convert 0.087 mg/L of ammonia to ..... mg/L of ammonia /

    The title and the body aren't the same question. Assuming the title is correct, multiply by 1L/10 dL (there are 10 deciliters in a liter), so 0.0087 mg/dL.

      Thank you so much! Yes, you were right ... it should be mg/L to mg/dL.

      I got some results back from a lab. and it says 0.087mg/L for ammonia. However, I should
      be getting values around 8.7, if I compare values from others papers.
      I do not know for sure if the units from this lab. are quite right.

      Could I get something like 8.7 if I change the units of it ? Like mmol/L, mM/L, mmol/100mol ...

        0.087 mg/L would be 0.0087 mg/dL. That might be better expressed as 8.7 µg/dL (micrograms per deciliter), and µg might be abbreviated as mcg. That's the only thing I can think of.
