http://www.onlineconversion.com/obje...inder_tank.htm If the 91" around is the circumference then: diameter = 91" / Pi = 29" Then using the above calculator we find that a cylinder tank with a diameter of 29" and length of 42 inches has a volume of 27741.8 cubic inches. Now on the volume conversion page we find: 27 741.8 cubic inch = 120.094 372 29 gallon [US, liquid] So its a great big 120 gallon gas tank.

http://www.onlineconversion.com/obje...nk_partial.htm All dimensions must be in the same unit (inches) and the volume is in the cube of that unit (cubic inches). For US gallons, divided by 231 cubic inches per gallon. Using the calculator: Full: 104338.6 in³ = 451.7 gallons 7" of fuel: 13203 in³ = 57.2 gallons Note: The full figure is physical volume, but a safe fill allows around 5% headspace for thermal expansion as temperature changes. Max safe fill would be around 429 gallons.
