I think they are really interesting, but I know I'll never remember them. It is fun to learn new things. I'd even like to learn a little more about websites, etc. I'm from the old TRS Dos and MS Dos generation, and windows is really cool, but I do have a whole lot to learn. My son got me some discs to learn a few things, I need to go over them again.

Thank you I looked at the web site and it was so much fun. If you ever heard of the IBM Selectric Typewriter you would know how cool these are. I used to have to change the ball to get a few symbols, but it was so limited.
I've played with a few. ALT-0153 , ALT-0178 . This is fun, I'm glad you thought of this.

Actually you have a program that does it on your computer.

Start->Run then type in charmap.exe

When you select a character, look on the bottom right and it shows you the keystrokes you need.

I use the program enough that I keep a shortcut to it on my desktop.

I do use them, all the time. useful if you need to type things like:
x + y = z
32 F
cup
m
And dozens of other things.

It makes no sense why this post bothers you so much. There is nothing wrong with it. If you dont like it then start your own post with your own things you think are cool.
