Convert everything to the same base unit of feet then multiply.

7 feet * (2.244 inches / 12) feet * (1.02 inches / 12) feet = 0.111265 cubic feet

Calculate the cross-sectional area of a piece in square feet. Divide by it.
(If pieces are random width and/or random thickness, there is no way to determine. Measure and add all the lengths.

Its simple to calculate CFT

Size x Size x Length x Pcs / 144

Suppose you have 4 Pcs Log wood of same Length

e.g. Suppose the swan size of wood you purchased is of 7' x 1' and length is 7ft

7 x 1 x 7 x 4 /144

196/144

CFT=1.361

RFT= 28

for RFT its No of Pcs x Length.

Also i would like to inform you that in South India specially Bengaluru they use a bit different method for calculation the above is universally used in around the globe for timber products.
