Question FLOW : LPM to PPM

I've got a mass flow meter that I need some help with it...

The flow meter reads in PPM, and my comparison standard reads in LPM.

How many LPM = 1 PPM?

PPM is normally used to mean parts per million, a ratio of one thing (very dilute) mixed in another. As a unit of flow I have no clue what it means.

OP, can you give us more information? - I'm used to mass flow meters measuring gas flow, but usually by weight (hence the "mass").

And is LPM liters per minute?

If so, we need to know what the substance is as you are converting between mass and volume. Densities vary with conditions, so we also need temperature for liquid, and temperature and pressure for a gas.
