A yard of fabric is 1 yard length of a standard size roll. Weight doesnt enter into the equation.

Assuming the roll is a standard width, 60 inches would be 1.667 yards
60 inches / 36 inches/yard = 1.667

you can't convert fabric lbs into yards because different fabric weight lbs 1 yrd of fabric is 36 inches, 60yards of fabric is 2160 inches.

Converting Lbs into yds depend on weight and inches of Fabric; try using this formula:
1/(fabric inches*fabric weight*0.00082/16) and see if you can get.....

then if I have a fabric that is 12.29/lb and 76inch @ 255g/sq.m

1/(76X.562(gram convert to lb?)X0.00082/16) would that be correct?

Thanks in advance!

you have 12.29lb of a 255g/m fabric that is 76" wide, and you want to know how long it is?

There is 1.196y in 1m, and there is 453.6g in a pound, and there is 36" in a yard.

weight of 1 linear yard in pounds is 255/453.6 x 1/1.196 x 76/36 = 0.99lb. (1 lb)

Length of fabric = 12.29yards
