That depends on the substance. Is it water? Gas? Sand? etc...

A helpful reminder I was told for this was:
"A pint a pound
the world round"

One Pint is about a pound. Or, if you'd be willing to convert it to metric, 1g=1cL=1ccm

There are about 8.35 pounds per gallon of water.

It is ferric chloride and hydrofluorisilic acid both in liquid form.

500 gallons of water is 4170 lb. Grease would be a little lighter, maybe 3840 lb, and could vary a bit depending on exactly what kind of grease.
