convert metres to kilogrammes

help me convert Y12 steel bar . I need the multiplying factor for various sizes of steel, ie I want to transport 2550m of 12mm deformed bar, how many kilogrammes do they weigh?

12 mm deformed bar appears to be 0.888 kg/m,
so 2550 m should be about 2264 kg.

The article gives dimensional and weight data for several sizes, both english and metric.
