Question Convert cu ft to gallons

My propane bills come in Gallons and the meter is cubic feet.
If I have 353700 cu ft what would be the math to convert this?

1 gallon = 231 in³, and 1 ft³ = 1728 in³, so 1 gallon = 0.13368 ft³. However, I don't think that is the answer you want.

The gallons are probably measured as a liquid, and the cubic feet as a gas. At the standard temperature of 60 °F (15.56 °C), propane expands 277.4:1 evaporating from a liquid to a gas. Therefore 1 gallon liquid = 37.083 ft³ gas.

If that is correct, 353700 ft³ of gas is about 9540 gallons.
