I'm preparing to teach a class in local anesthesia to dental hygienists.
For the life of me I can't seem to understand % concentration.
The textbook says that a 2% solution of lidocaine is equal to 20mg/ml.
A 3% solution is equal to 30mg/ml and so on.
I don't understand how they come up with 20.
1ml must equal a thousand of something!
