Can anyone please tell me how much fabric (kgs) needs to be booked?
Assuming any waste is already accounted for in the 1 yard/pc, for 250 pcs, you need 250 yd

250 yd x 1 kg/2.05 yd = 122 kg

As fabric gsm has some tolerance, you may want a little extra to be sure.

We need to compute the area, then the weight of a piece 1 yd long (36 inches)

58" x 36" x (.0254 m/in)² x 260 g/m² x 1 kg/1000 g = 0.35024 kg

$4.60/kg x 0.35024 kg = $1.6111. This is figured from weight for a piece one yard long, so it should be the price per yard. The price has been increased a few cents, but not terribly high.
