My first post . . . for some reason I am just not "getting it".
A pest control firm advertises a price for up to 250 linear ft. I am attempting to convert to a square ft. home. If the home is square 62.5' x 62.5 feet, I am arriving at 250 linear ft, with the home equalling 3906.25 sq. ft. If the home is 115 ft. x 10 feet, I am still arriving at 250 linear ft with the square feet equalling 1150 sq. ft. What would the square footage actually be for 250 linear ft. I am having a brain freeze. Many Thanks

It probably depends on what they consider linear feet. In my mind, its probably the perimeter, which is what you have arrived at.
And since a 250 foot perimeter could be anywhere from 3906.25 square feet (62.5 x 62.5) to 124 square feet (124 x 1), you cant really create a linear foot to square foot conversion factor. |
