24+18+10 = 52" so yours could be a little bigger.
Just add the three dimensions, compare to the limit

Basically the same question has been asked and answered 18 different times, and there is no value to the continued repeats. I will summarize and close the thread.

1) Measure the length, width, and height of the piece and add the measurements together. If the piece is irregular, measure the greatest value for each dimension, ie the dimensions of the rectangular box it would just fit inside of. Round pieces such as duffles are slightly penalized in this system.

2) Compare to limit. Most airlines are 45" for cabin pieces, 62" for checked luggage.
length + width + height < 62 inches
length + width + height < 45 inches
(Note: in metric, substitute 157 cm and 114 cm)

Oversize (and overweight) pieces may be accepted for extra fees. If the piece is only slightly over the limit, results may be mixed. It may be accepted on partially full flights, rejected or penalized on full flights. It may also depend on the mood of the employee. Pieces are judged visually first and measured only if they think it is over. This visual judgement is slightly biased towards the passenger. If they decide to measure, you are almost certainly over.
