Default Converting/comparing 100 µg dosage to mL dosage

Hi,

This is regarding Asthma medication. Even though the delivery methods between a ventolin inhaler puffer is different to a nebulizer, I would like to know what a similar dosage is for each.

So, my question is, for each 2.5mL solution (which contains the equivalent of SALBUTAMOL 2.5 mg) for use in a Nebulizer, how many puffs of a ventolin inhaler ( containing 100 µg SALBUTAMOL per metered dose) would give the same amount of SALBUTAMOL?

Thanks.

Hi there, wishing you all the best with your health. I would like to encourage you to keep looking until you find a Dr you are happy to work with on this.

- Even if you did know how to do this calculation yourself, the ethics of self-medication (in this case) are still pretty dubious. Hopefully you will be able to find a Dr you can talk to about it very soon.
