linear feet * width of board in feet = square feet
So for 6 inch wide boards it would be: 8339 linear feet * (6 / 12) feet = 4169.5 square feet Though for tongue and groove board, you should measure the width of the board minus the tongue, only the visible width of the board should be counted.
