grams to cups
I need to convert grams to cups. I know there is no conversion claculator yet for this. If I need 250 grams of ground almonds for my recipe, how many cups would this be?

According to the rec.cooking.faq, ground almonds have a density of 85 grams/cup
250 grams / 85 grams/cup = 2.94 cups Just use 3 cups. |

im pretty sure that 30g would equal about .3529 cups.
85g = 30g 1 c = x then cross multiply which would be 30=85x, divide each side by 85, and x=.3529

According to the Rec.Cooking.FAQ, granulated sugar is 190 grams per cup.
250 grams / 190 grams/cup = 1.32 cups About 1 and 1/3 cups |
