Default Urgent! Calculating feet to cubic meters

Hello. I have to send a shipment and urgently need to know how to calculate 3.3 feet x 3.7 feet x 2.1 feet to cubic meters?

It might be easier to remeasure with a metric tape measure. Measure to the centimeter (0.01 m) and round up any fraction of a centimeter. (whether or not you agree with practice, shipping companies round up any fraction)

(You can do the same thing by conversion, 1 foot = 0.3048 m). You get 1.01 m x 1.13 m x 0.64 m or 0.73 m³.

Hello...thanks for response....so should I just convert measurements to meters and then multiply them all like this? Is this answer correct?
3.3 feet = (1.005 84meters) x
3.7 feet = (1.127 76meters) x
2.1 feet = (0.640 08meters) x
Totals = 0.7248 Is this correct

Your answer is very close, but the shipping company really will round up any fraction of a centimeter to the next centimeter, so 1.005 84 m becomes 1.01 m for shipping (and it looks like I failed to notice the fraction on the last one. The shipping company might call it either 0.64 or 0.65 m).

That round up is a minor nuisance to do when converting, which is why I suggested remeasuring with a metric tape.

Note: Many shipping companies consider both weight and volume in setting their rates. They usually convert volume to "dimensional weight" or "volumetric weight" and charge that or actual weight whichever is greater. You may find this Wikipedia article helpful:
