      Or the male solution: Buy it in a 1 pound bag or box.
      One pound = 453 g, which is minutely more than you need.
      Use it all.

        I buy icing sugar in 500g bags. 500g icing sugar is way more than 1 cup. Closer to two. I would say that what i call icing sugar is much lighter and fluffier than what you are calling icing sugar. Maybe more similar to castor sugar?

            450 grams = approximatly 3 1/2 cups of confectioners sugar

            1cup = 128 grams
            3 1/2 cups = 448 grams
            3 3/4 cups = 480 grams
