The National Physical Laboratory (NPL) in Teddington, Middlesex, UK, is the national standards laboratory of the United Kingdom, and establishes measurement standards for international comparison.

The NPL website provides access to tables of scientific reference information, known as Kaye and Laby for the authors of the first edition, published in 1911. By the time of the 16th edition in 1995, the tables consisted of more than 600 pages, which are now available online through the links below.

The Kaye and Laby tables contain extensive data for international use, but may also be helpful when seeking authoritative information about usage specific to the United Kingdom.
