Hi,

I have bought a kit from US which is designed to be used for 110v. The domestic usage in our country is 220v. What is the volt of the adaptor that is to be bought so that i can use this kit?

hi...since you're using a 110 i believed you need to have a transformer in order for you to use the 110 kit

You'll need a step down transformer to convert your 220 volts to the 110 volts needed by your equipment.

There are several you can buy for around $10 USD or so. Not sure the price you would pay in your country.

If you are near an airport, you will find alot of choices in the gift shop there. Also the gift shop of a Hotel would be a good place. Both would be more expensive though, so go to an electronics store first.

There are several you can find on the web, just make sure its a step down, or a dual step-up/step-down. A step up converter converts 110 volt outlet to fit 220 volt equiptment.
