I see that there are alot of conversion generators that do the converting for you but where can I find the actual conversions like cm to m = divide by 100.

I do not have a chart available. I may make up a few basic charts for download in the future, but nothing right now.

I imagine a chart with all possible combinations of all units would take up about a million pages. Though if you have the time and know what units you are interested in you can create your own chart.

First convert a quantity of 1 to find the conversion factor:
1 foot = 12 inches

That would mean:
To convert foot to inches, multiply by 12

Same with nearly any units (except temperature).

1 centimeter = 0.01 meter
To convert centimeter to meter, multiply by 0.01

1 mile = 5,280 feet
To convert mile to feet, multiply by 5280

1 square foot = 144 square inch
To convert square foot to square inch, multiply by 144

etc.
