14 feet * 24 feet = 336 square feet
For rectangular areas, you just multiply length * width.

10'-3" x 6' = 10.25 x 6 = 61.5 sq. ft.

I assume you are paintint the walls. The perimeter is 80'.
If the walls are 8' high, you have about 640 ft².

That pesky half inch is an extra 0.042 ft, so the room is
11.042' x 10.042' = 110.9 ft²

Assuming they are the length and width of a rectangle, just multiply the 2 numbers together. So the 2nd one is 440 ft²

The room has a perimeter of 100' (four sides of 25'). You may wish to subtract doorway openings.
100 ft x 3 ft = 300 ft²

ok so my room is 23.5' x 15.5' and the hallway is 10' x 4.25', how do I figure how much carpet I need? I understand I multiply and I got 371 sqft for the room and 42.5 sqft for the hallway, do I add that together or have to buy 2 separate pieces? Thank You for your knowledge

You can add it together for a total. That is how much you need but not necessarily how much you have to buy. It is sold in fixed width rolls and there may be some waste in cutting to fit. You have to know the width, and plan the cuts you will use to make pieces that fit. If the carpet has a pattern, you need to consider how the pattern matches at the seams, which may increase waste.
If it is sold in 12' widths, you would probably use a 12' x 4.25' piece for the hall and waste the odd amount. For the room, two pieces 12' x 15.5 ft, then trim 6" off one. For other widths, you would have to refigure approach.
