I need to convert cu. yds. to tons for aggregate. #8 lime stone and #304 lime stone. I can't find the weight for theses aggregates.

I could not find anything that matches your requirements exactly. I found only these:

Limestone, solid - 2611 kg/m³
Limestone, broken - 1554 kg/m³
Limestone, pulverized - 1394 kg/m³

Limestone aggregate weight can vary by density. The generally accepted construction math is

Spec. Grav. of solid limestone is 2.61 x ( H20 @ 62.4#/cu ft) = 162.87#/cu ft
Spec. Grav. #8 stone.......1.34
Spec. Grav. #304 Stone... 1.38

Are all of thos dimensions centimeters? The density of granite averages 2750 kg/m³

1.33 m x 0.79 m x 0.05 m x 2750 kg/m³ = 144.5 kg

if I have a ledge of limestone 6' thick, how many tons are there in 1 acre?

Density depends on the intrinsic properties of the specific limestone but average is approximately 162.9 lb/ft3 (2610 kg/m3), so:

43560 ft2 * 0.5 ft * 162.9 lbs/ft3 = 3 547 962 lbs / 2000 lbs/ton = 1 773.98 tons (more or less)

I am having a limestone backing to to an enclosed gas fire, in the chimney breast, my chimney breast is very old eg victorian and has had lots of additions or builders who have made multiple skims or fill ins - a plaster is to put on as a skim but I think this will be a too weak as the limestone backing will be adhered to by an adhesive. Am I right in my concern. If I am then I might need to chase off the current eg skims and fill ins from the brick and renew by a more substantial backing to hold a limestone piece?

what is the exact weight of limestone rock

There is no "exact" weight except for an individual stone. Natural materials vary. See posts 2, 4, 6, 8 for credible figures from various sources for solid and broken stone. The figures for broken stone are bulk densities, they count the air space between pieces in the volume.

What is the weight of crushed (150mm) lime stone? Will there be a difference in the weight if the crushing size is 20mm? If anybody can answer please?
