How much primer will I need for 10000 twenty fl oz cartrdiges of sealant if 1 twenty fl oz. cartridge equals 6 linear feet in a 1" wide x 0.5 inch deep joint and one gallon of primer equals 350 square feet?

The primer only covers the top of the bead of sealant right?

6 feet * ( 1 inch / 12) feet = 0.5 square feet per tube

10,000 * 0.5 square feet = 5,000 square feet total

5,000 square feet / 350 square feet/gallon = 14.29 gallons

You will need about 15 gallons.

Though I would call that a low estimate. Seems like if you were painting over a bead of sealant you would paint more than just the bead, you'd cover a small area on each side. Not exactly sure of your circumstances.
