First of all I want to say; What a GREAT web-site :D I had lots of fun exploring it now and Iīm going to have lots of good use for it in the future.

Also, I read the thread about the kines Zoodiac sign. Isīnt it so that the kines have a different calender all togethor? The same with in muslim counties.

1) Are there other calanders around the globe besides those mentioned above?
2) What year is it in Kina now (sign and number)?
3) What year is it in muslim contries now?
4) Do these countries with other calenders divide the year in different way than we do?

Curious

Everyone (most) uses the same calendar now. It is called the Gregorian calendar, and it is pretty much the current international standard for calendars.

There are about 40 or 50 different calendar systems and of that currently about 10 calendars in use today. But besides the Gregorian, most of those in use are just for traditional reasons. Calendars such as the Hebrew, Chinese, and Islamic calendar may be "in use" but only in a traditional sense, they still use the Gregorian for everything.
