Probably my favorite movie of 2011 would be Hangover Part 2. I would agree that it did not have that same paunch which the first installment was able to bring but still a very interesting one at that.
It should not be compared vis-a-vis anyway as they are separate films which tackle different things and played with different ideas in its entirety.
Again, there would be the perennial Harry Potter answer.

bahahaha yeah not kidding! I am just joking, but I get it.
Didnt see Hangover 2 as I just thought would be a totall re-work of part 1.
Maybe I was wrong?!?!? :-O

We’ve seen a lot of good movies in the year of 2011. It's not been a bad year for films, gems like Drive, Hannah, Submarine, Animal Kingdom, Super 8 (guilty pleasure) and Snowtown, but in the same breath their has been some right c**p like Thor, Transformers 3, and Attack the Block (which I really wanted to be great but was just flat).

Awe you didnt like Thor? Ill admit I was into it until his pals came down to earth, then it seemed to go from a serious War God kicking a## kinda movie to a more light hearted comedy, seemed almost like 2 movies to me, but overall I liked it!!! I did enjoy Hannah alot, quirky in a good way. Never heard of Snowtown, need to look that one up.
p.s. must also say I am biased to any comic made to movie, read comics as a kid so I tend to support them with a serious bias :)

Definitely Source Code. I absolutely love science fiction movies, and this really is one of the better ones you will find out there. And it's from Duncan Jones, director of Moon.
