I’m writing a set of classes for .NET that will allow intrinsic math on engineering units. For example, a class that represents torque multiplied by a class that represents angular speed would yield power. If there are known power losses, those losses could be subtracted from the calculated power.
I’ve put together a list of units that would be commonly be used in engineering, science, and industry and posted a link to it under the Resource forum. I would appreciate any corrections or omissions. For example, I just noticed it is missing enthalpy. Most of these were sourced from Wikipedia and if so, have a hyperlink under the Quality column. Of course that means there could be errors in this information.
I would also be interested in beta testers when I’m closer to a finished product.
Thanks in advance.
