How many litres are in one metric tonnes (oil)

It depends slightly on things like type, temperature, and pressure, but petroleum oil has an approximate density of 0.88 kg/L

So there will be about 1136.36 liters per tonne

Would this calculation apply to vegetable oils such as crude palm oil, coconut oil etc.

Thanks for the help!

different type of oil have different viscosity and specific gravity ... so make sure your figure is correct

Assuming from what you quoted, you are still asking about oil, if we assume a density of 0.88 kg/L, then 66000 kg or 66 t.

However, the answer varies with density. Typical vegetable oils are around 0.92 kg/L, so 75000 L would be 69 t. Gasoline is much lighter than oil, around 0.73 kg/L so 75000 L of gasoline would be 54.8 t. Each of these products have lot specific densities that vary a little around the nominal, so use a measured density for the specific lot in question.

25000 MT is how many litres?

The answer would be different for feathers and lead. You have to identify the substance or give its density; otherwise, the question can't be answered.

12309 ltr diesel oil

You should know the density of your oil (it varies), but 0.84 kg/L is typical, so 10 339.6 kg = 10.3396 t.

How many metric tonnes of oil if 209 in litres?

How many metric tonnes of oil if 209 in litres?

Depends on the type of oil. #2 diesel is around 0.84 kg/L, most vegetable ois are around 0.92 kg/L. Using those two numbers, 209 L could vary from 175 kg - 193 kg. Divide by 1000 for tonnes.

want to know the density for gasoil, gasoline and diesel

Density can vary lot to lot as petroleum products are mixtures of many different chemicals. Figures below are typical and can vary:
Motor gasoline: 0.73 kg/L (Av gas is lighter)
Automotive diesel: 0.84 kg/L. Heavy diesel used in ships can go up to 0.95 kg/L or higher.

Gasoil seems to be about the same as automotive diesel. Jet fuel (and winter or #1 diesel) are around 0.8 kg/L.

If you need any great accuracy, use measured density for the lot in question. Also, all the densities vary with temperature due to thermal expansion.

Density is numerically the same in g/cm³, kg/L, or t/m³

1 t x 1 m³/0.86 t = 1.163 m³ or 1163 L.

how many litres of vegetable oil makes one tonne of vegetable oil?

It will depend on the density or specific gravity, which will vary with what type of vegetable oil. However, most run close to 0.92 g/cm³,

Using that value, 1 t x 1 m³/0.92 t x 1000 L/m³ = approx. 1087 L.
If the oil density varies ± 0.02 g/cm³, the result varies by about ±22 L, so you really need the density of your particular oil.

1. How many metric tonne is in 200 liters of palm oil?
2. How many liters of palm oil make a metric tonne?

If density is 0.92 kg/L, then 200 L is 184 kg or 0.184 t

1 t is 1000 kg, so 1000 kg x 1 L/0.92 kg = 1087 L
