Has anyone ever seen the horror flick "Hell Night" starring Linda Blair? Well, that has to be one of my favorite horror flicks ever! Its kinda low budget but it is good. Most people in their 30's would remeber it but teens today may not have even heard of it because it is unavailable for rent.

I loved 6th Sense. It wasn't a horror movie really, but sortof was I guess. But it happens to be the only movie to ever fool me.
Normally I have a movie figured out a quarter of the way through, because of all the obvious clues they leave. But the 6th Sense really fooled me. It was a great movie.
the movie is THE DESCENT it was acted by ladies and its the best movie i have seen a woman really fight dangerous humanlike creatures but those freaks which lived in that poxy cave ate all those wondeful gals non of them servived .

Yes, the omen was quite scary but in a very classy way. There was little gore and that is what I liked about it. The movie was written well with enough of the plot and dialogue to scare the heck outta you. There was no need for blood and gore.

You can delete this if you want to.
Since I have been on this forum it seems like one person has called other members everything from immature to retarded to morons. I really do find this offensive. That member has used language that would make (actually any example I would use might offend someone) blush. I am tired of feeling that I have to walk on eggshell, so to speak. Maybe that person should go to some kind of anger management before being allowed back on this forum. I am sure that this has something to do with the other members leaving, and I am seriously thinking about leaving myself. I don't need this type of hostility in my life.
I do find it shocking that she is still allowed to be on this forum, and that is my opinion after seeing some of her posts that were deleted. Specifically posts that she called me all kinds of horible things. They get deleted after I use some type of tactful way of telling her to stop. For example telling her to wash her fingers out with soap.
You are right I am mad. Why should anyone have to deal with such an abusive individual.
oh come on, dont get mad ,you came to have fun ! just go ahead and have your fun just know that no one can stop you !!! because you are mature and can control your self though its funny about the moderators just deleting anything they feel like deleting which make it a deleting forum conversion, way out of track !!!!!!!

Well if I delete her message, then it wouldn't make sense to leave your message because it was referencing a message that no longer existed.
I am not saying there was anything bad in your message, just seemed silly for me to leave it after the original post was gone.
I cant always read all the posts several times a day, so I wont come in here and delete things right away unless somebody reports a post. You may think I am just deleting after you post a reply, but really I am just deleting after I get an email message that something is wrong.
If Lady posts an offensive message, click the "Report Bad Post" button and I will check right away. Its the image that looks like a white triangle with red border and a ! in it.
I try really hard but I only manage to read all the messages once a day, unless somebody reports the post then I read it right away.

Robert,
I have an idea.
Create a penal system for repeat violators of the NO OFFENSIVE post rule. I understand that every now and again someone will make a mistake and needs a little guidance. In that case a simple edit or deletion is perfect.
However, if there were a situation where a person habitually offends others then there should be a penalty.
Here are my thoughts:
The first time you see a pattern (meaning two or three offensive posts or simply a person that constantly directs their anger at the same person) -
Penalty = Banned for 1 week
Upon returning and becoming offensive again-
Penalty = Banned for 1 month
Three strikes and you're out.
This is how I see it and how I'd do it.
But then again, what the heck do I know.:D
He who forgives ends the quarrel.

I think there is something called a karma system or a reputation system on this forum that I could activate and see how it works.
If your answer was helpful or good people can "give" or "take" points. The more points you have, the more you can give or take. I have not looked into it much but I will now to see if its something that might be fun for here.
But as Moro noticed, the thread went a bit off topic. I will give it a day for others to read/reply then delete all these off-topic posts so we can get back to the horror movies.

Chasing people away eventually works. They can always just come back with a new username. Probably after banning them 100 times they would give up and not come back.
I must have 10,000 spammers banned and IP blocked, but still they keep trying.
I can create another group for users and require their posts to be moderated. That sounds a more fitting punishment for first offense. Maybe a 4 strikes you're out type system. Not sure how that would work into a sports analogy.

What your problem is that the opinions are not stated the way that you would want them. Not everyone is like you. Some topics are heated and require a strong point of view while others are just fun. You all get pissed when something is not posted the way you would like it to be. Then, if you do not like it, hit ignore. It is such a simple solution to all this mess. Why get mad? That is why it is an opinion based forum. It is not callled we all think alike. But it seems that you all like a little drama in your lives and that is why you continue to pick. For weeks things have been fine and then Moro drags out an old comment, which maybe at the time meant something, and is expecting to twist it around for entertainment. We all used to pick on him and for good reason. He used to be the mouth around here, degrading women, and saying harsh things. Moro was and is no saint and I am not a fan of what he is doing, playing dumb, nor am I thrilled by all of your attacks. None of you can practice what you preach. You are hypocrites with nothing better to do. Even Robert has caught you trying to offend me in other posts so quit playing victims. You think that you are so sweet by adding things like "oh, it is just my super humble opinion" and "ooh! How great it is that you can read and defend yourself". I mean, that is pretty lame. There is not one bad word in this post but you will scream that there is. You will turn it into something that it is not and cry to Robert. It is getting pretty old. Trust me, I found you equally unpleasant. The feeling is mutual. Anyway, months ago you said that you were going to ignore me. Well, what happened? Why dont you do this forum a favor and try it. Ignore me. And that is the END to your big problem since you state that it fills you with so much hostility in your humble life. Go and read some more verses out of the bible. Maybe it can help you.

Yes, studdering is not something to made fun. Whoever does make fun of it is a shallow person. Studdering is not like losing weight or cutting your hair. It does not go away in an instant. It takes time to get better through lessons and sometimes that does not even help. Did anyone here ever watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer? Well, the actor who played the character Xander has suffered with stuttering for most of his life. He was able to overcome it but admits that it still happens to him every once in a while. He was part of a stuttering campaign.
Anyway, did anyone ever watch a series called American Gothic? It was a creepy show, sorta supernatural?

No, I hope that they do make a sequel. I want to know if she finds her way out of the cave. Otherwise, the ending says that she is left for dead. What I think is going to happen in part 2 is that someone, like more friends, will go looking for her, see that her car is parked by the cave, and then go inside to look for her. Then those creatures will attack and that is how the movie will go on.
By the way, for those of you who wanna know, the movie we're talking about is The Descent.

The Grudge 1 was pretty good. It was thrilling but #2 just confused me...what did the chicago family have to do with the evil spirit?

Greatest "Scary" film... not sure it qualifies as "horror"... was "The Changeling", starring George C. Scott in the 80's. Canadian production, got very little promotion here.
I loved it because it was like old Hitchcock. Terrifying... with effectively NO "blood and gore". It scared the socks off you, and at the end you could not remember how it did that. No slash, blood, spatter, or body parts.
I went back to see it seven times, just to find out how it did that. Turned out it was music, camera angles, lighting, and timing. Fantastic movie. Rent it and see!
Cheers!
:)

I used to love Chuckie! My boys were never getting that "Best Friend" doll. No way was it coming after me.
And I just saw Leprechaun the other night. That was a little freaky.
I remember when the Exorcist came out. My older sister went to see it, and I had to sleep. She was so scared she peed the bed because she wouldn't get out of it.

Did you see Daybreakers? Not sure thats the right name, the one that was out a little while ago where humans are the food and vamps are the 'normal' people? Was pretty good I thought, GREAT idea/concept and started strong, just ended weak IMHO, almost like 1/2 way thru they changed directors or something!
28 Days Later is a modern classic to me.

MIne is Twilight Eclipse
The whole movie focused more on the love triangle, which was not half bad. The vampire movements and the battle scenes involving the werewolves were very good - although this is the only time wherein there was action going on in the screen. We also liked the flashbacks on which the scenes not only wove into the plot significantly but helps the audience get a deeper connection to what the protagonist of the movie is going through. Those who are not fans would surely think the whole movie was dragging and the story, pointless. Overall, we think they were able to execute the third film with the best of their abilities, with the material given to them. More than anything, two things that the movie succeeded in is making the girls squirm every time Jacob had his shirt off and delighting the Moms with Edward saying that marriage should come first before sexual intercourse.

The Ring was a really scary movie. That part where the dead girl crawls out of the TV still scares me, even after three times watching. :/
Not really into horror movies so much as TV shows, I prefer horror TV shows like The Walking Dead and True blood.
