kindly help me to do the following conversions:
liters to kilograms of diesel
liters to kilograms of petrol
(so i can easily get kJ/Kg to kj/liters)

thank you very much

The first thing you need to know is the specific gravity of the diesel and petrol.

The specific gravity is the density of the substance compared to water. Water has a density of 1 kilogram/liter. So, 10 kg of water is 10 liters.

We could assume .832 kg/L for the specific gravity of diesel, but the weight can vary.

Hence you can calculate liters= kilograms / (kilogram/liter)

Or

Kilograms= liters * (kilogram/liter)

Knowing the above, then have liters=1 kilogram/ (.832 kg/l)

So, 1 kilogram of diesel = 1.202 liters

Both the density and the energy content of petroleum fuels will vary according to refinery, source of crude, etc.

However gasoline (petrol) is around 0.75 kg/L and diesel around 0.85 kg/L. If you are looking for high accuracy, it should be based on fuel analysis of your particular lot for both density and heat content.

These values are derived from a DoE table in conventional units with conversion to SI for reformulated gasoline and low sulfur diesel.

Do you have density (which has units, kg/L) or do you have specific gravity? If you have density and the density is stated at 27 °C,
100 kg x 1 L/0.82 kg = 122 L

You may need a temperature correction for the density. If specific gravity, the specific gravity of water is nearly 1 kg/L, you divide by SG, then density of water at the specified temperature. At 27 °C, the density of water is [U]slightly[U] less than 1 kg/L. You can look it up in a reference. If you just need rough number, don't bother.

Weight of Diesel = 9840 KG
Density = 831.90

Weight of Diesel = 9840 KG
Density = 831.90

Density is never a "naked number." It has units. The units are almost certainly kilograms per cubic meter.

9840 kg x 1 m³/831.90 kg = 11.828 m³ = 11828 L

You just divide mass by density to get volume, but the units have to be compatible.

Read posts 2-7 in this thread. Note that the density varies lot to lot, and you should use measured density.

100 liters water how many kilograms pless tell mee

Density varies with temperature; water has a maximum density very near 1 kg/L at 4 °C. As long as it is not frozen and reasonably cool, that answer is still pretty good.

Just below boiling, because the water expands, 100 L would be only about 95 kg.

This is answered several times in post #2-#7 of this thread. You need to know the density of your lot of diesel (it varies), but just follow the methodology in those posts.

How to convert ICECREAM in liters to kgs i.e if an icecream case is of 4.5 liters then how much will it be in kgs and how ????

The density of ice cream varies considerably from the density of the starting mix because of air entrained in the frozen product. You may find this discussion helpful.
http://www.foodscience.uoguelph.ca/dairyedu/overrun.html

Low quality ice cream will be whipped to a larger volume and may have density as low as 0.5 kg/L; high quality ice cream may be considerably denser. Another site suggests as high as 0.9 kg/L. Given this wide a dispersion, you'd have to weigh a sample, and the value would only be good for that brand.

The density of water varies slightlky with temperature, but for cool or room temperature water, 1 kg/L is a reasonable approximation. If hot water, look for a water density table.

You need to know the density. To know the density, you need to know the state (liquid or gas), temperature, and particularly with a gas, the pressure.
Liquids and solids are reasonable incompressible, but temperature causes thermal expansion so density varies with temperature. The volume of a gas also varies inversely with pressure. The volume of a gas, without temperature and pressure stated, is literally meaningless as a gas expands to fill the space.

Wikipedia is often a good place to find density. Make sure the conditions of the density quoted are close to what you have.

Shrimp live in sea water and have to be close to the same density (1.025 kg/L) so around 14.9 L of shrimp soup.

You can't 'cause Liter is a unit of volume and kilogram is a unit of mass.You must apply the formula:
mass = density * volume
If your substance is water which has a density of 1 kg/L,then
mass= (1 kg/L) * volume
