The pound is legally defined as 0.453 592 37 kg

so 5000 IU/lb x 1 lb/0.45359237 kg = 11023 IU/kg

Could someone tell me how to convert IU/lb to KIU/lb ?
I have

Vit A 800000.00 IU/LB = KIU/LB ?
Vit D-3 160000 IU/LB = KIU/LB?
Vit E 8000 IU/LB = KIU/LB?

Presumably "K" (should be lower case) is used in its metric prefix sense, meaning 1000. So divide by 1000, for vitamin A, 800 kIU/lb. Debatable whether it is correct to use metric prefixes with non-metric units, but that is probably the intent.
